It’s critical to learn by ear to be able to pick up on the nuances and subtleties that make the greats so mesmerizing. I am able to help students learn and play their favorite songs in the most accurate way possible while developing their own ear - this not only allows them to learn songs on their own, but also helps them expand their creativity with the guitar.

I’ll help you learn the songs that you are passionate about and the techniques that make them so unique, so you can use them in your original compositions. You’ll learn:

• How to play your favorite songs, and write your own

• Music Theory - chords, scales, modes, arpeggios

• Classic riffs and solos

• Improvisation

• Performance - including singing and playing together

• Various picking styles and techniques like flat picking, fingerpicking, and hybrid picking

• Songwriting and writing arrangements
